Early on, a mentor taught me something I’ve never let go of: a builder’s job isn’t to follow the drawings. It’s to protect what the drawings are trying to become. When you see a better way, you raise your hand.

Curiosity

Before construction, there was Chile — a bookstore called The English Reader, a small business to run, a new language, and no manual for any of it. I learned to think for myself.

Discovery

Back in the States, I fell into construction almost by accident. My first project was an Abercrombie & Fitch. I found that solving problems was leadership — and I was hooked.

Mentorship

Two people shaped how I lead. Dan Keck taught me craftsmanship, and the courage to raise a hard conversation early. Michael Stanley taught me discipline, planning, and quiet leadership. Between them, they built the principles that became Precise.

Vision

So I built the contractor I’d always wanted to work for. One built on trust, craft, and relationships that outlast the project.
